NEW MINISTER APPOINTED The appointment of the Rev. Daniel Mclntyre, of Southland, to be minister of the Uxbridge Street Presbyterian Church, Howick. was announced at a congregational meeting on Tuesday evening. The interim moderator. Rev. S. E. Hill, of Ellerslie, conveyed to the congregation the decision of the General Assembly Supply and Appointments Committee to appoint Mr. Mclntyre. The induction was provisionally fixed to Like place on the afternoon of September 28 at the Howick ehurch. A welcome social is to be held in the Uxbridge Street Church hall In the evening.
