This Week-End May See Start of Big Trans-Tasman Flight

Kingsford Smith'is not able to announce the definite date of commencement of his New Zealand flight, it is reliably reported that Engineer Maidment has been ashed to complete'his inspection of the Southern Cross by Friday night, in which case,, weather permitting, the flight will probably begin during the coming week-end.
