STEWARD BADLY HURT FRACAS ABOARD STEAMER Press Association. WESPORT, To-day. Early this morning a fracas occurred aboard, the overseas steamer Atholl, which is at present at Westport, and Mahomraed Abdullah, a Somalilander. inflicted severe wounds on a steward, David Henry Waterson. Apparently the trouble had been brewing since yesterday afternoon and was brought to a head this morning when Adullah attacked the steward with, a razor inflicting wounds on his face and body. Adullah was arrested, and nine of his countrymen refused to return to the ship. It is alleged that when theattack took place the chief officer pointed a revolver at the assailant but the weapon failed to go off.
