SIR APIRANA NGATA TO SPEAK IN AUCKLAND “Where does the Maori come in, and what is his economic position?” Sir Apirana Ngata, Memoer for the Eastern Maori electorate, will give his views on these questions, in Auckland on Monday evening. Sir Apirana is to give an address in the University College under arrangement with the Maori section of the Auckland Institute. He will spend to-morrow at Xgaruawahia at the pa of Princess Te Herangi. and will arrive in Auckland on Monday. His address is expected to be a frank statement of Maori affairs and prospects, particularly from the standpoint of economics. On his return to Wellington. heWU be accompanied by a party of «w* katos, who are going to the capu • on native business.
