NATIVES’ PENSIONS
MAORI MEMBERS TO TAU ACTION Maori members of Parliament radvised their intention of going -- the question of securing the * amount of old-age pensions for »T natives. This is in response to a long h£ ■ specific cases forwarded by Te & rana Maori Association showing old Maoris have been given sat-' pensions than Europeans. One reason given for redr native amounts is that # some of Maoris have been subscribing W Ratana Church. The association P°out that such a practice is in white religions, and the Church has been registered is Zealand.
