RESEARCH SHIP DANA The Danish research ship Dana, under Dr. J. Schmidt, director of the physiological section of the Carlsberg Laboratory, will visit Auckland before the end of this year. The Foreign Secretary’s letter asked the department to give the expedition every possible assistance. The council decided that the matter should be left in the hands of a committee, which J was also watching the Interests of the New Zealand Institute Scientific Congress, which is to be held in Auck- | land in January next year.
