DELHI, Thursday. 111-luck still dogs Captain Barnard, who examined the propeller of his plane this morning after his arrival at Karachi and found it to be in the worst condition. He will have to wait for several weeks, pending the arrival of a new propeller. The Duchess of Bedford decided not to wait. She caught a boat at Karachi to-night, and will take the mail-boat from Bombay on Saturday. An earlier report said: A report from Karachi says Captain G. D. Barnard, who w’ith the Duchess of Bedford and Mr. E. H. Allicotl. left England on Juno 10 on a flight to India in the plane Princess Xenia, which met with engine trouble and was detained at Bushire. has reached Kara chi, after a non-stop flight of 1,200 miles from Bushire. They expected to leave at dawn on Friday in an attempt to make a record four days’ flight to London.
