At an examination in the pianoforte conducted by Mr. C. Egerton Rowe, of the Trinity College of Music, London, the following pupils of St. Joseph’s Convent were successful: Diploma of Associate.—Lila Green. Higher Local.—Pattie Clark and Janet Scott. Senior.—Jessie Grubb (honours), Kathleen Labarre and Thelma Reddish. Intermediate.—Marie Phillips, Jean West, Joan Noble and Eva Hammond. Junior.—Gladys Harvey, Ena Stewart, Olive Hayward and Dorothy Patterson. Preparatory.—Kathleen Gordon. First Steps.—Mary Hoult and Thora Bennington.
