“SUNRISE”

TO BE SHOWN IN AUCKLAND “Sunrise,” the Pox Films ma:terpiece, was pre-viewed in three Californian cities .recently, and the reactions of these audiences have convinced Fox Films officials that they have the outstanding picture of all time. Because of his past achievements, the motion picture public looks to F. W. Murnau, the director, for the brilliant new effects in his pictures. In “Sunrise” he has done more than just furnish effects. While ‘ The Last Laugh” and “Faust” were made with European audiences in view, “Sunrise” is a picture of world-wide appeal with drama, suspense, comedy, plot and the most impressive background it was possible for technical ingenuity to achieve. This production Is to be released at the Strand Theatre.
