The Waipiata, from Southern ports, is expected to arrive at Auckland at three o clock this afternoon, and berths at the Prince’s Wharf. The Kurow undocks at noon to-day and berths at the Prince’s Wharf. On Saturday she leaves Auckland for Wellington. Lyttelton and Dunedin. The Kaitoke left Lyttelton at *4.30 p.m. yesterday for Auckland, where she is expected to arrive at noon on Saturday. The Waitomo is to dock to-morrow to have a new tail shaft fitted. The Wingaui, from Dunedin, leaves Tnnaru at 5 p.m. to-day via Lyttelton and Wellington, for Auckland, where she is due early next week. The Balls Head is still bar-bound at Greymouth, and it is doubtful if she will clear there before to-morrow for Auckland. The Gunbar is expected to arrive at Auckland next Monday from the East Goast and should sail the following day on her return trip to Gisborne, Napier and East Coast bays. The Westport Coal Company’s collier Canopus sailed from Auckland last evening on her return trip to Westport. The Katoa sailed from Auckland vesterdav afternoon for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Bluff. The Parracombe leaves Auckland on Saturday for Wellington and Dunedin to complete her discharge of Australian hardwood.

THE KAWATIRI.—The Union Company’s steamer Kawatiri, which camo alongside Western Wharf earlier in the week from her anchorage in the stream for overhaul and survey, will be removed to an anchorage off Hobson's Bay to-morrow morning. KUROW UNDOCKED.—The Union Company’s steamer Kurow, which has had her hull cleaned and painted in Calliope Dock, undocked to-day. The vessel completes her annual overhaul and survey, and sails on Saturday for Wellington. Lyttelton and Dunedin. WAITOMO TO DOCK.—The Union company’s steamer Waitomo, which broke her tail shaft in the Tasman Sea some time ago and had to be towed to Auckland for repairs, is to go into dock at Calliope to-morrow morning at six o’clock. The vessel is alongside King’s Wharf. SYDNEY STEAMERS.—The Ulimaroa leaves Wellington at 11 a.m. to-morrow for Sydney and the Maheno and the Marama both leave Sydney for New Zealand, the Maheno for Auckland and the Marama for Wellington. All the three vessels are due at their arrival ports next Tuesday morning. CASE OIL FROM TEXAS.—The local office of the Texas Oil Company has received advice that the Norwegian mo-tor-ship Westvard is scheduled to leave Port Arthur, Texas, to-day with a full cargo of case oil for discharge at Auok- . Wellington and Australian ports. She is expected to arrive at Auckland about the end of September. WARNING TO SHIPPING The Superintendent of Mercantile Marine reports that Flat Rock light is not showing. Masters should be careful when navigating in the vicinity at night time. The light 'will he attended to as soon as possible.
