TURNING THE CORNER
(From Our Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, Wednesday. “I am proud to be one of the told brigade,” said Mr. J. R. Fow, Mayor of Hamilton, speaking at the annual dinner of the New Zealand Dairy Company last night. He referred to the bulldog manner in which the directors and staff of the company had stuck together and wtorked for the mutual benefit of shareholders in adverse times. He believed they had turned the corner. A voice: I wonder. Mr. Fow: Well, the member for Raglan says it’s right, and I suppose what he says is right.
