LYRIC

“THE SILVER SLAVE" The second attraction to-morrow will be one of the colourful action stories by Tim McCoy, entitled “Wyoming.” McCoy as the resourceful Indian fighter is at his best in this picture. The chief pictorial attraction at the Lyric Theatre to-morrow will be a brilliant comedy-drama, “The Silver Slave,” starring Irene Rich and including in the cast Audrey Ferris. Holmes Herbert, John Miljan and Carrol* Nye. It recounts the clever way in which a gay society matron prevented her daughter from marrying for money as she herself had done. This she carries out successfully by vamping the girl’s lovers herself. The flapper daughter, furious at the conduct which she does not understand, packs up to leave home, then comes a climax as intriguing as it is unexpected. Irene Rich gives the most bewitching performance of her career and Audrey Ferris plays the daughter with the naive charm of the teens.
