COOK’S HAWAII LANDING

The Cook celebrations culminated in a large and spectacular historical drama, depicting Captain Cook’s arrival. Weeks had been spent in preparation, and more than 150 actors participated. A Hawaiian village, faithful in every detail, had been specially built. The Australian, New Zealand and I British delegates, and warship officers, j viewed the drama.
