GETTING ITS WINGS

AUCKLAND AERO CLUB The Auckland Aero Club will get Its wing early in October, when the airplanes are due to arrive from England. A meeting of the club heard this news with pleasure last evening, and decided to start building a hangar at Ihumata at once. The hangar has been designed by Messrs. Bloomfield and Hunt. The Director of Air Services, Major T. M. Wilkes, dispelled doubts about the arrival of the planes by a letter which stated that they would arrive in October. The club captain, Major K. Caldwell. said that members were indebted to Major Wilkes for his interest and for his practical help in the planning of the hangar. The club has a membership of more than ISO.
