AFTER THE FIGHT
Pat Connors, manager of Lachie McDonald, said that Mclnnes was the greatest fighter that McDonald has ever met. Jack Warner, manager of Tommy Mclnnes, is dissatisfied with the decision and considers that Mclnnes was entitled to the decision. A doctor said after the fight that the cut over McDonald’s eye was nearly three inches long and was through to the bone. He was fixed up temporarily last night, but to-day had to go under an operation. McDonald will take a spell for six weeks.
