“ROSES OF JOY”

PLAY AT ONEHUNGA “Roses of Joy,” a fairy play produced by Miss Aileen Beresford, was presented at the Foresters’ Theatre, Onehunga, last evening. The proceeds were in aid of the Onehunga Free Kindergarten. The play was a distinct success in every way and was played to a crowded house. The performers were well received and had to respond to many encores. Various weird scenes were represented, including one of “The Dragon’s Cave.” The children appeared in charming songs and dainty dresses.
