BASKETBALL TOURNEY
BIG WEEK IN AUCKLAND STARTING from to-morrow, basketball enthusiasts and players will be treated to a big week. The annual New Zealand basketball tournament is to be staged at Wellesley Street courts, the first game taking place at 1.45 o’clock to-morrow afternoon. Players representing seven provinces of the Dominion will be seen in action. One team has come from as far away as Southland.
