NATIONALISTS’ AMBITIONS 600,000 TONS OF WARSHIPS (United l’.A.—By Telegraph — Copyright) (Australian and N.Z. Tress Association.) SHANGHAI, Saturday. Nationalist China is planning to build a modern navy, with ships totalling 600,000 tons, within 10 years, as part of the nrnmmmi, of national reconstruction, according to Marshal Chiang Hei-shek, in a speech he made at the launching of the first Nationalist gunboat for the Yangtse River service at Shanghai.
