BUCKLEY AGAIN SENTENCED r THEFT AT TAUMARUNUI Dressed more after the manner of a prosperous business man than an habitual criminal doing seven years’ hard labour, John Leslie Buckley, the recaptured prisoner, again stood in the dock at the Supreme Court this mornhig to hear sentence. He had pleaded guilty in the Police Court, Taumarunui, to a charge of breaking, entering and theft in that district. Prisoner had nothing to say. The offence was committed while Buckley Was making his way to Wellington. Mr. Justice Reed imposed sentence 0* three years’ hard labour, the term be concurrent with the sentence aow being served.
