CATTLE STOLEN

MAN ADMITS THEFT OF FOUR COWS SENTENCE DEFERRED Pleading guilty to the theft of four cows at Te Puke on August 7, Charles West appeared in the Supreme Court this morning for sentence. In asking that the case be stood down, Mr. V. • N. Hubble. for the Crown, said inquiries were being made in two similar cases. Prisoner would be connected with further charges. Mr. Justice Reed deferred sentence for a month.
