DIED DURING OPERATION
William Burnett, aged 40, a farmer, living near Milton, died during an operation at a Dunedin private hospital on Saturday. The coroner to-day returned a verdict that death was due to respiratory and cardiac failure during a necessary and severe operation. —P.A.
