SCHOOL ENLARGEMENT

CONSIDERATION DEFERRED Press Association. GISBORNE. Sunday. In reply to representations from Gisborne for the extension of primary school accommodation, the Minister of Education, in a letter to Mr. W. D. Lysnar, M.P., asks that the question be deferred for two or three weeks. Investigation is now being made regarding the proposed extension of the junior high school system, and this, if given effect to would result in the reorganisation of all schools, leaving more accommodation at the existing primary schools.
