At the Tailteann (Nationalist) Irish sports, the 100 metres flat race resulted:— First Heat. —Warren (Canada), 1; Carlton (Australia), 2. Time, 10 4-5 sec. Final: Warren Fitzpatrick 1, Adams, 2 (both Canadians). Time, 10 3-ssec., equalling Abraham’s Olynfrpic record. Warren, who is comparatively unknown, won by a foot. SOO Metres, final. —Edwards (Canada) was first in record Tailteann time. 1 min 52 l-ssec. Whyte (Australia) was third. The American, Joie Ray, won the Marathon of about 23i miles in 2 hours aimiu. -
