AGREEMENT REACHED
JAPAN AND UNITED STATES TREATY TO STAND MEANWHILE (United P.A.—By Telegraph — Copyright) Tiynes Cable. Reed. 9.5 a.m. TOKYO, Wednesday. The Prime Minister, Baron Tanaka, informed the Cabinet that the Government had reached an agreement with the United States, by which the anese-American Arbitration Treaty, expiring on August 23, would continue to be effective in its present form, pending its revision, which has been postponed. Regarding China, he said that in consequence of the Hayashi mission to Mukden and Nankin, a compromise had been postponed for three months.
