Yorks. —Warwick, first innings, 244 runs (Parsons, 73). Robinson took six wickets for 87. Second, 21 for two wickets. Yorks, first, 640 for seven, declared (Holmes, 275; Robinson, 57; Rhodes, 52 not out). Yorks won on the first innings. Notts v. Middlesex.. —Notts, first innings, 217 (Payton, 75). Enthoven five wickets for 2s. Second, 243 (Why sail, 62; Walker, 89 not out). Robins, five wickets for 59. Middlesex, first innings, 318 (Enthoven, 71; Robins, 64). Second, 61 for four. Middlesex won on the first innings. Sussex v. Kent. —Sussex, first, 405 (H. Parks, 158 not out; A. Gilligan, 104; Cornford, 57). Second, 390 for seven (Bowley, 92; Langridge, 62; Duleepsinhji, 107; PI. Parks, 74 not out). Kent, first, 412 for nine, declared (J. Bryan, 109; Woolley, 120). Kent won on the first innings. Glamorgan v. Surrey.—Glamorgan, first, 341 (Bell, 89; D. Davies, 61). Shepherd four for 67. Second, 199 for four (Bates, 58; Turnbull, 51 not out). Surrey, first, 392 for six (Sandham, 204 not out; Gregory, 74). Second, 553 for seven, declared (Sandham, 248 not out; Garland Wells, 61 not out). Surrey won on the first innings. Somerset v. Hants. —Somerset, first, 288 (Longrigg, 95; Glasgow, 53). Judd six for 65. Second, 152 for seven, declared (Young, 55). Kennedy four for 34. Hants, first, 151 (Greswell, nine for 62). Somerset won on the first Innings. Gloucester v. Essex. —Gloucester, first, 315 (B. Lyon, 70; Smith, 69; Neale, 96). Hipkin six for 107. Essex, first, 177 for two. Match drawn. Batting for Northants against Worcester, Woolley made 71, W. Timms 61 and J. Timms 58. Jupp took four for 47 and seven for 113 and Thomas four for 21. Northants won. For Derby against Leicester, Storer made 69, Lee 81 and 107 not out. Worthington took four for 51 and five for 39, and Lee five for 31 and four for 20. For Leicester Shipman made 50.
