NOTES AND COMMENTS
FORM AT ADDINGTON PARS FOR PUNTERS With two days of the Addington trotting carnival over, followers of the pastime will be endeavouring to sum up the position for the final issue to-morrow. The form of the previous days should assist in the solution of the problems, although the changed track conditions yesterday upset calculations in several instances. After his easy victory on the opening day it is difficult to understand Maxegin being allowed to start at such long odds yesterday. The brilliant American trotter is not finished 3'et either. Kerrwood Bell is threatening to ring out a merry tune in the near future. Two thirds yesterday was a performance suggestive of something better. King Pointer is Right King Pointer made no mistakes when started in the saddle race and his party collected without any signs of apprehension. Any time, any style, any distance for this customer. Another defeat for Loch Moigh—but once he strikes winning form again there will be defeats recorded for his opponents. Gold Jacket likes to get away clear at the tapes, and when he accomplishes this feat the job of those behind him is a difficult one. He won brilliantly yesterday and if he tackles the saddle heat tomorrow he will keep all hands busy. Zenith is coming along the right way and his effort in the King George Handicap yesterday proves that the grey pacer will soon be at his zenith. Daphne Still Knocking Daphne de Oro put up another fine performance in the two miles go yesterday and the filly will not be long in having her number raised to the top of the ladder.
