Kings College Dance

Many Visitor's Attend BRILLIANT FUNCTION Streamers of maroon and gold, twining at random, with hundreds of coloured balloons, decorated the spacious dining-hall at King’s College, Mangere, last evening, when a very successful j dance was held. Strings of coloured lights added their soft glow to the scene. Several sitting-rooms were arranged as lounges. For the nondancers, bridge tables were set out and attracted a large number of players. The musical programme was provided by Miss Jean Mclndoe’s orchestra, and Mr. H. L. C. Mowbray acted as master of ceremonies. The supper tables were arranged in the gymnasium, and were decorated with vases of spring flowers, and candles. Canon and Mrs. H. K. Archdall received the guests, Mrs. Archdall wearing a model gown of eggshell green georgette, embossed with chenille o£ darker shades. Among those present were: Mrs. Harry Mowbray, gown of wallflower ring velvet. Mrs. Harrison-Gregory, Ceylon, in clack ring velvet, with a handsome gold wrap. Mrs .
