INWARD GOODS-SHED

START TO BE MADE RAILWAY RECONSTRUCTION SCHEME A start has been mads with the plans for the new car repair shod and the new inward goods shed of the Auckland railway yards reconstruction scheme. Both sheds will face on to Beach Road, near the new railway station. The architects, Messrs. Glimmer and Ford, have the plans in hand for the two buildings, which wall conform architecturally to the main station building. When completed, the new station and sheds will form a most attractive and impressive block of buildings. The inward goods shed, opening on to Beach Road, will have every modern facility for handling lar&e quantities of produce quickly. Its position will be appreciated by traders and merchants, as the shed will be nearer the heart of the city.
