Sydney Anglicans Excited About Coadjutor Bishop’s Engagement

(United P.A.—By Telegraph — Copyright) Received 9.40 a.m. SYDNEY, To-day. SYDNEY Anglican circles are excited at the announcement to-day of the engagement of the Right Rev. Gerard Addington D’Arcy-Irvine, Bishop-Coadjutor of the Diocese of Sydney, to Miss Angus, of Neutral Bay. She was an intimate friend of the late Mrs. D’ArcyIrvine, who died 14 months ago. Dr. D’Arcy-Irvine, who was horn in 1862, is an outstanding figure in the Anglican Church life of this State. He received his early education at the Napier Grammar School, New Zealand. He has two sons and two daughters.
