AN INCIDENT IN BALLANTYNE’S TEA-ROOMS A visitor to Christchurch invited a couple of friends to afternoon tea the other day. As usual the room was packed, and it was with some difficulty that a table was secured. The topic of conversation drifted from the weatlier to coughs and colds, when the visitor remarked that he had managed to stave off a sore throat with a few doses of Baxter’s Lung Preserver. “Well, as a matter of fact,” said a Chri-stchurch resident, “I always use it myself. Being in the line as it were, I could, of course, get something a good deal cheaper than Baxter’s but I must say that in our house we always keep this well-known remedy. There is something about Baxter’s that shakes the life out of a cold.” For over 60 years Baxter’s Lung Preserver has been the favourite cough and cold remedy throughout this Dominion. It is a rich, red, warming, soothing compound that relieves sore throats and bronchial troubles in a wonderful way. You can feel it doing you good from the very first dose. You can get “Baxter’s” in a genei'ous-sized bottle for half-a-crown; family size at 4*> 6d, and for bachelors there is a special eighteenpenny size. Do not take any risks this winter, but get your bottle of “Baxter’s” and keep it handy. 2.
