GROAT.—On August 14, 1928, at Waihi Hospital, Lindsay (Len.), beloved husband of Bessie Groat, of Waihi; aged 34 years. HARDMAN.—On August 9, at his late residence, Taumarunui, Thomas Scholes, beloved husband of Annie Rostron; in his 60th year. McMILLAN.—On August 14, at his residence, Kingsland, Thomas, beloved, husband of the late Martha McMillan; in his 71st year. METCALFE.—On August 13, 3 925. at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Broadfoot, Te Kuiti, Jessie Alexander, relict of Henry Hulbert Metcalfe, C.E. RICHARDS.—On August 14, 1928, at his late residence, Awanui, George, beloved husband of the late Ellen Richards; aged 94 years.
