PORT DENISON LEAVES MONTEVIDEO.—A cable message to the C. and D. Line reports that the Port Denison left Montevideo last Saturday for London, en route from Wellington. The vessel sailed from here on July 20. TARANAKI SAILS TO-MORROW.—At daybreak to-morrow A. S. Paterson and Company hopes to dispatch the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company’s motor-ship Taranaki from Auckland for London and west of England ports via Panama. ROTORUA FOR HOME.—The N.Z Shipping Company advises that the liner Rotorua leaves Napier to-day for Wellington where she completes her loading and finally departs at daybreak next Saturday for Southampton and London via Panama.
ATHOLL FOR WESTPORT.—Spedding Limited advises that the steamer Atholl, now discharging Java sugar at Chelsea, leaves Auckland at 7 a.m., next Wednesday for Westport for bunkers; thence she probably goes to the Islands to enter the phosphate trade. SALTERSGATE SAILS.—The steamer Saltersgate sailed from Auckland last evening for Wanganui where she completes her discharge of Nauru phophates. Later she goes to Westport to load coal for Pago Pago. SYDNEY STEAMERS.—The Marama leaves Auckland at 3 p.m., on Friday and the Maheno leaves Wellington noon the same day for Sydney. The Ulimaroa sails from Sydney at noon on Friday for "Wellington. All the three vessels are due at their arrival ports next Tuesday morning.
CASE OIL CHARTER.—The Norwegian motor-ship Nordvard, 4.111 tons register, has been fixed to load 190,000 to *OO,OOO cases of oil at Port Arthur for Australia and/or New Zealand ports, at *9 cents a case, with 1 cent extra for each additional port of discharge up to seyen ports, August loading. The Nordvard is owned by L. Rlosler, of Oslo. Norway, ‘who also owns the motor-ships Austvard, Sorvard and Vestvard, all of which have visited Australia during the last 12 months. PHOSPHATES FOR BLUFF. The British steamer Kirnwood has been chartered to load phosphates at the Seychelles Islands for BlufC. The Kirnwood, which is owned by the Joseph Constantine Steamship Bine, Bimited, was built in January of this year by J. Readliead and Son. Bimited, at South Shields. She is registered as 3,741 tons gross. «HU MATA SAILS TO-DAY.—Having completed temporary repairs to her damaged bow, and completed the discharge of the local portion of her cargo, the R. S. Lamb steamer, Ihumata is to be dispatched from Auckland at 4 o'clock this evening for Napier and Tauranga. The vessel then proceeds to Greyniouth to load for Australia. CARGO FROM CALCUTTA. —The local office of the Union Company have been advised that the steamer Hatkhola left Calcutta last Saturday via Rangoon, Singapore and Sydney for Auckland and Wellington. She is due at Sydney on September 11 and sails again on September 15 for Auckland, being due here on September 19. KANNA LEAVES GREYMOUTH.—The local office of the Union Company hsfv'e been advised that the Kanna left Greymouth at 9 o’clock this morning for Auckland where she is due about Sunday. After discharge here, the vessel proceeds to Noumea thence Walpole Island to load for New Plymouth, Timaru and Dunedin. PORT HUON TO COMPLETE.-The Farmers’ Co.-op. Auctioneering Company have been advised that the C. and D. Bine’s motor-ship Port Huon leaves Napier to-day for Waikokopu; thence Gisborne and Auckland to complete her loading. She is due here on August 22 and sails finally from this port on August 25 for New York, Boston and Bondon, via Panama. RAVENSCAR WITH PHOSPHATES.— The British Dominions Steamship Company’s steamer Ravenscar (ex Pa than) has been chartered to load phosphates at Casablanca for New Zealand ports. The Ravenscar was built in 1905 by Sir Raylton Dixon and Company, Bimited, at Middlesbro’. She is managed by Smith Prichard and Company, and is reported to have sailed from Colombo yesterday. CANADIAN BRITISHER SAILS.—The Canadian Britisher sailed for Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru and Dunedin last evening in continuation of her voyage from Montreal. After completion of dischai'ge the vessel will load in the South and then return to Auckland to complete loading general cargo for New York, Boston and Montreal. She is scheduled to leave Auckland for New York on September* 1. PORT BOWEN AT NEW PLYMOUTH.—Now loading at New Plymouth the C. and D. Line’s steamer Port Bowen later proceeds to Wanganui, thence Wellington, Napier, Gisborne and Auckland to fill up. She is due here on August 29 and is to clear Auckland finally on September 2 for Bondon and west of England ports, via Panama. Heather, Roberton and Company will act as the local agents.
WAIOTAPU AT VANCOUVER.— Cabled news have been received by the Union Company that the Waiotapu arrived at Vancouver at noon on Saturday. The vessel will load at Powell River, Union Bay. and Ocean Falls, clearing the latter port on August 25 for San Francisco and Bos Angeles, to complete loading for Wellington. Melbourne and Sydney. She is to clear Bos Angeles on September 4. PORT OF ONEHUNGA—
ARRIVALS TO-DAY * RARAWA (9.30 a.m.), 1,077 tons, Bark, from New Plymouth. TOA (10 a.m.), 207 tons, JacksonFowler, from Hokianga. The Rarawa, which arrived at Onehunga this morning from New Plymouth, sails again at three o’clock to-morrow afternoon for the same port. The Toa arrived at Onehunga at 10 o’clock this morning from Hokianga. She is now announced to sail at noon tomorrow for the same port.

Messrs. Russell and Somers, local agents for the Anchor Company, advise that the Titoki will load at Onehunga on or about Tuesday next for Picton, Nelson and West Coast ports.
