BUTTER BONUS £430,000
PAYOUT THIS MONTH N.Z. CO-OP. DAIRY CO. ACTIVITIES Early this afternoon the announcement was made on behalf of the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company, Limited, that the butter bonus to be paid out at the end of this month would amount to £426,981. This is for butter alone. The total bonuses over the whole of the company’s activities will be £472,775, after allowing for share deductions. The annual report of the company remarks that the -season has been a rather remarkable one. It commenced under conditions of great promise, indicating probabilities of a record output. As the season wore on the greater part of the territory was severely stricken with drought, but in the total, the output slightly exceeded that of last year, which was a record.
