DAMAGES FOR FARMER

MOTOR COLLISION CLAIM An echo of a motor collision which occurred nearly 12 months ago was heard in the Magistrate’s Court yesterday, when J. W\ Webb, farmer, sued W. Gray, proprietor of the Oakdale Bacon Company, for £52 19s 6d as damages. It was stated that on September 3, 1927, Webb was driving his car along the Great South Hoad near Manurewa when the car came into collision with a van belonging to defendant, whose servant was driving it. Negligence on the part of the servant was alleged. Judgment was given for plaintiff for the full amount.
