DEVONPORT DRUIDS
The Devonport Druids' Lodge brated its “4 th anniversary last ' ninfr with a very successful 0—... concert in the Masonic Hall IwT port. ' The lodge was first mooted at . meeting of a few members of the onkl who assembled on the beach at n! foot of Victoria Road one SumS morning. From this meeting ai movement grew and a strong loto was formed. To-day Devonport kS over 300 members. The chair was taken last evening w Arch-Druid Wainhouse. Brother Mo*. 1 acting as social secretary. Among visitors were:—District President 1 A. Govan, Grand Guardian G. Lethab Fast District President McCowatt. aas P. D. Brother Gregory. All the or lodges were represented as were all da Friendly Societies of Devonport am Takapuna. The usual toasts ire, honoured, the reply to “The Visitors’ being made by the Mayor of Devos port, Mr. E. Aldridge. Concert items were supplied by Mrs. Wallace aig Messrs. W. Marks, Horrocks, Clarke Birkhead, Wren, Gilmour, Massee,Mei. drum, McGann and L. Cusworth.
