BOXING OFFICIALS

Press Association. WELLINGTON, Tuesday. The New Zealand Boxing Council met this evening. It was decided that the following will foe the referees and judges for the New Zealand amateur championships at Auckland next week: —Referees, J. Kilmartin (Dunedin) and P. Meale (Auckland). Judges, O. Bush (Auckland), J. E. Staples (Wellington), A. Sevan (Greymouth) and A. Smith (Oamaru). The victory of E. Morgan in the Olympic Games is to be commemorated by a challenge cup to foe awarded each year to the amateur welterweight champion of New Zealand. It was decided to forward a congratulatory cable to Morgan and also to congratulate all athletic bodies represented at the Games on the performances of their representatives.
