Two Well-Known Men Hurt During Week-End
Two well-known Auckland business men were injured during the week-end.
Mr. J. B. Henry, Auckland manager of the Bank of Neio Zealand, had one leg cut so that he had to have several stitches put in it, when his car hit a telegraph pole in Remuera Road at the foot of Mount Hobson on Friday afternoon. Mr. Henry was the only person in the car , which toas badly damaged. While moving his car at his home in Remuera Road on Saturday, Mr. P. H. Upton, manager of the South British Insurance Company , slipped and fell , breaking a small bone in his ankle.
