fortnight ended August 2, from Argentine and Uruguay:—Chilled _ beef, 243,600 quarters; frozen beef, 18,500 quarters; frozen mutton, 31,120 * carcases; frozen lamb, 41,107 carcases. The quantity shipped to the Continent of Europe during the same period was as follows:—Frozen beef, 62,546 quarters; frozen mutton, 4,745 carcases; frozen lamb, 319 carcases.
