DEATH BY HANGING

UNKNOWN MAN’S SUICIDE (From Our Own Correspondent) CAMBRIDGE, To-day. An inquest concerning the circumstances of the death of the unknown man found hanging from a tree on Mr. H. C. Bertelsen’s farm at Roto-o-rangi on Wednesday, was held this morning, before Mr. F. W. Platts, S.M. Evidence was given that the body was that of a well-nourished, healthy man, who was well dressed. A farmer said that on the previous day he saw a man come out of a clump of trees on Mr. Bertelsen’s farm and walk leisurely down the road. He was satisfied that deceased was the same person. A verdict that deceased, identity unknown, committed suicide by hanging.
