TALKING TO ITALY

NEW TELEPHONE SERVICE SOUTH AMERICAN AIR MAIL British Official Wireless. RUGBY, Wednesday. The Postmaster-General announces that a telephone service will be established between this country and Italy, via Switzerland, on August 9. Communication will be available from all parts of Great Britain, but will be restricted initially in Italy to calls to and from Milan. The Postmaster-General also announces that a weekly air mail service has been established with Brazil, Uruguay, and Argentine, via France. The service may be used in addition for correspondence addressed to Paraguay, Bolivia, and Chile.
