Mr. G. F. Court left for Sydney today by the Ulimaroa. Dr. J. M. Dixon sailed by the Ulima-j-py, to-daj for Sydney. I. Tokusawa, Japanese Consul, was a passenger for Sydney to-day by the Ulimaroa. Sir Frederic Lang, M.L.C., arrived from Wellington by the Limited this morning. Mr. A. W. McCall, of Wellington, arrived in Auckland this morning and is staying at the Grand Hotel. Mr. St- John Smith arrived from the South by the Limited this morning and is staving at Arundel. Mr. G. N. Morris, official assignee, lias returned to Auckland after a week’s business visit to Wellington. Mr. c. M. Croft, Canadian Trade Commissioner, returned to Auckland this morning by the Limited from Wellington. Mr. A. S. Wansborough, designing engineer, Mew Zealand Railways, arrived in Auckland this morning from Wellington. The Hon. F. Slander, M.L.C., and the Hon. J. G. Garland, M.L.C., were among the passengers who arrived from Wellington this morning on the Limited. Mr. H. C. Gregory, accountant in the Commercial Bnk of Australia at Hamilton, left last evening on transfer to Palmerston North. Mr. Harvey Turner, general manager of Turner and Growers, Ltd., leaves on the Tofua to-morrow on a business trip to the Islands. Major R. D. Furse, private secretary (appointments) to the Secretary of State for the Colonies, left by the Ulimaroa to-day after a visit to New Zealand. Mr. K. C. Addison, of the Bank of New South Wales, who has been promoted to the position of inspector of the New Zealand branches, was given a farewell, and sails for the Dominion to-day, says a Sydney message.—P.A. Mr. A. Marshall, district Public Trustee at Whangarei, and president of the Whangarei Chamber of Commerce, has been transferred to Dunedin.
