CATHOLIC FAIR

ST. BENEDICT’S HALL The Ponsonby Catholic Tennis Club is holding a fair, sale of work and tug-of-war competition in St. Benedict’s Hall, East Street, to-day and to-morrow. No admission charge will be made and many attractions are promised. The tug-of-war competition should be particularly good, as many leading teams, including the present Auckland champions are competing. Special attention has been paid to the novel sideshows. Saturday afternoon will be devoted entirely to the children and a special committee will arrange competitions and games.
