TURNERS AND GROWERS, LTD. Graceful exhibitions of the new Yale Blues and the Heebie Jeebies were given by Mr. Colin Shorter and Miss Yvonne Arlen at the very enjoyable dance held by the members of the staff of Messrs. Turners and Growers, Ltd., in the Manchester Unity Hall, last

evening. Tho hall was attractively decorated, and bright dance music was supplied by an excellent orchestra. Committee members present were: Miss R. Petrie, wearing a frock of silver lace with a scarlet shawl. Miss M. Souter, who wore a bouffant frock of rose blush taffeta. Miss B. Fraser, in coral ring velvet and georgette, and a white shawl. Others present included: Mrs. J. Hanna, flame and silver lace frock. Mrs. N. McGowan, black georgette and ring velvet. Mrs. J. Butterworth, coral crepe de chine and silver lace. Mrs. Webb, blue taffeta frock. Mrs T. Bowmar, duchess blue crepe de chine. Mrs. Bairstow, silver lace and salmon georgette. Mrs B. Kennedy, apricot chenille embossed georgette. Mrs. D.
