“BUSH LEAGUER” AT EMPIRE
‘ The Bush Leaguer,” a story of baseball, starring Monte Blue, will be shown at the Empire Theatre this evening.
In “The Bush Leaguer” Monte appears as a benzine station tender, who spends his time between customers and the neighbouring vacant section, and on Sundays pitches for his home town team. A scout from Los Angeles offers him a job, and seeing a chance to make the proper contacts for the promotion of a benzine pump which he has invented, he accepts. “Blood Will Tell.” starring Buck Jones, is a thrilling romance of laws and outlaws, will also be shown.
