NO APPEARANCE
A LTHOUGH selected to play for the North Island minor unions against those of the South, George Nepia and Jimmy Mill, the stars of the 1924-25 All Blacks, did not emerge from their East Coast retreat to take part in the game, thereby robbing it of much of its interest. Mill went to Australia with the 1926 All Blacks, but since that year neither he nor Nepia has played much serious football. It would seem that both these fine footballers have given the game up for good.
