“Where did you get the hairpint” asked Mr. Justice Blair in the Supreme Court this morning when a youth, giving evidence in a elaim for damages, said that he was cleaning a detonator with a hairpin. "when the thing exploded.” “1 found it o« the footpath." was the reply. “Then there are some people with long hair," commented his Honour. "I should have thought hairpins were getting pretty scarce.”
