“ARE YOU FIT TO MARRY?”
AT LYRIC THIS EVENING An unusual and instructional film will b© shown at the Lyric Theatre for the first time this evening - , entitled “Are You Fit to Marry?” The theme is a moral one, showing how the sins of the father are visited on the children. The plot deals with a subject that has been held an unmentionable thing for centuries, but it is related so dramatically and clearly that it must interest everyone and offend none. The picture version is free Crorn the taint which adheres to most of the sex problem plays. It does not parade evil that good may come of it. It shows how the most innocent become victims of the sins of others. This picture is a stirring plea for a pure life before marriage. Its message is to all humanity and to unmarried people as well as parents. No one under the age of 16 years will be admitted, by order of the New Zealand Film Censor. There will be two sessions daily and the box plans are now open.
