INTERESTING WORK TO-DAY AUCKLANDERS “ALL WELL” TRACK CLOSED TO-MORROW (Special to THE SUE) CHRISTCHURCH, To-day. The weather was fine, but cold, at Addington to-day for the final workouts. The track was in splendid order, the trestles being seven yards out. Horses had to work on the middle of the course. Jewel Pointer gave a dashing display over a mile and a-half in 3.24, Trimmer, who accompanied him over the last 10 furlongs, being within half a length of the Aucklander at the finish. Acre and Kohara were beaten off. Great Change and Sister Beatrice trotted brilliantly for 12 furlongs, registering 3.28. Peter Bingen, Jackie Audubon, and Queen’s Own gave a fine display over two miles. The first mile was slow, but they rattled home over the concluding half-mile. Vestas beat Pageant in a smart 10 furlongs on the outside of the track. Loch Moigh broke badly while going a mile and a-half with Native Star. Loch Moigh was in harness. and Native Star in saddle. Gold Jacket Pleases Gold Jacket pleased immensely in a mile and three-quarters spin. He was accompanied over the first 10 furlongs by Native Prince, who is very well. Imprint glided over two miles in 4.39, cutting out the last half-mile in 1.10. He is in good shape. Louisiana made several breaks while trotting a mile and a-half. Western King loafed over the first half of a mile essay, and then dashed over the last portion in 1.7, doing the last quarter in 32 3-5. Fight Ever, who is very well, cheered the crowd by reeling off half a mile in 1.4. Sarella milled along for six furlongs of a ten furlongs essay, and then dashed home in great style in 1.9. Maxegin went evenly over a mile and a-quarter, but he was not out to break the watch. Dillon Huon Well Dillon Huon pleased by the resolute manner he paced ten furlongs, the last mile occupying 2.20. Elzcar, who is better now than ever she has been, trotted a mile and aquarter comfortably in 3.8 2-5. Driven on the extreme outside of the track Young Blake was responsible for a sparkling effort over a mile and a-half. Sahib exhibited a lot of pep while doing a sprinting task, the best half mile being 1.7. Epigram was responsible for a mile and a-half in 3.39. Vesuvius, who has been responsible for several good workouts was sprinted.

Cannonball concluded a severe preparation by doing half pace work, interspersed with a few sharp sprints. There will be no work oh the Addington track to-morrow.
