DEATH OF YOUNG MAN UNIDENTIFIED STRANGER (From Our Oxen Correspondent) CAMBRIDGE, Wednesday. The discovery of the body of a young man, as yet not identified, hanging from a tree in a plantation at Roto-o-rangi, close to the main road from Te Awamutu to Cambridge, was made by a Dalmatian, Mr. Sim Angjelimobich, to-day. The body was suspended by a thin rope from the limb of a tree about three yards from the road. When Constable Jones arrived, the body had bene cut down. Its condition indicated that death had probably taken place last night. The body was brought into Cambridge, where an examination was made, but nothing was found which would help to establish the man’s identity. The body was that of a well-built tnan of 30 years, sft 3in in height, clean shaven, with dark brown hair. The man was well dressed in a striped srey suit, new grey felt hat, black shoes and socks, and a heavy black overcoat.
The police have made inquiries in the neighbourhood, but no ono remembers having observed a stranger.
