INJURED TWO GIRLS
CAR-DRIVER FINED (Special to THE SUN) DUNEDIN, Monday. Wallace Jeffcoate Harbutt appeared in the Magistrate’s Court to-day on a charge of having driven a motor-car recklessly on June 9, thereby injuring two girls in the capping procession. Senior-Sergeant Quartermain said defendant would have to pay the hospital fees. The magistrate considered Harbutt had already been heavily punished, and fined him only 30s.
